Ministry Interest

This ministry area seeks to provide love, biblical knowledge, fun activities, and a safe environment for students ages 6-11. Studies show that these years are the most pivotal regarding children accepting Christ. We engage with our students in several ways that include our weekly meetings, student event activities, and our Vacation Bible School. The following directives provide a framework for our ministry values:

Sharing the Love of Christ

1 John 4:7 challenges us to share the love of Christ with others. As we minister to our students, we intentionally create an atmosphere of grace and love. We realize the value and benefits of showing Christ’s love and want to educate and model to our students to do the same.

Providing Biblical Knowledge

2 Timothy 3:16-17 speaks about the importance and the benefit of knowing scripture. We strive to equip our students with a healthy biblical foundation that will prepare them for an authentic, meaningful relationship with God.

Creating Safe Environments

Safety is our priority. While we show love, and we teach scripture, we also are intentional about ensuring that our learning environment is a safe space. If anything amiss takes place, we jump in to maintain the health and safety of our students.

Creating Opportunities for Fun

We value the opportunity to let kids be kids. We strive to incorporate different activities and events within our learning structure that allows for fun. We understand that each child learns and grows in different ways. In this, we aim to reach each child at every level.

We take very serious the opportunity to pour into the lives of the next generation. We provide this by engaging with our students in several ways that include weekly meetings, student event activities, and our vacation Bible School. Support & Connection

This generation is different. Their needs are different, their ability to be influenced and impacted is also different. We realize the value and benefits of showing healthy support and connection to our students. Studies show that valuing student support and connection assists students in develop self- regulation skills particularly autonomy and self-determination.

Engaging Activities

While we offer student support/connection and we teach scripture, we also are intentional about ensuring that our learning environment provides opportunities for activities that are engaging, encouraging, and beneficial for the growth and development of our students.

Safe Environment

Safety is our priority. We work to ensure that our learning environment is a safe space. If anything, amiss takes place, we jump in to maintain the health and safety of our students.

“He has made everything beautiful in His time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men: yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

The Beautification Ministry’s focus is to ensure God’s house is beautifully decorated as the season dictates. We also ensure that the interior of the church is inviting and worshipful for members, visitors and guests. The purpose of the Beautification Ministry is to create an elegant place to worship. Our vision is to create a more inviting atmosphere and to enhance the worship experience of our church. Come join us in beautifying God’s house. Any individual member of our church is invited to join the Beautification Ministry. Members should desire to make the house of God an appealing place to worship and serve the Lord by volunteering their time and talents.

Members should commit to:

Upholding the serenity of Holiness in our sanctuary and its surrounding grounds;
Giving of the fruit of our hands to the work of the church for the glory of God;
Sharing our time, knowledge and talents to prepare other willing hands by encouraging and enhancing their creative abilities;
Intensifying the religious growth of our church family in Christ through our commitment to creativity, enthusiasm, work, service and dedication.

This ministry provides the technical support required for our worship services, and also records various events, teachings and sermons, which are made available for viewing or podcasting on our website for distribution to church members.

The ministry’s mission is to glorify God by ensuring that His Word and our praise and song to Him is seen and heard clearly and without distraction or interference within our local church as it is broadcasted or distributed on media with the highest video, audio, and production quality available.

Although this ministry covers all local church needs that have to do with audio and visual technology, the needed function of the ministry also includes:

Recording audio and video during regular church services and special events.

Broadcasting live audio and video (at times throughout the building) and internet.

Audio and video editing of recorded services and other special events for archive, broadcast, and production.

Production, duplication, and distribution of recorded audio and video files.

Providing audio and video support for evangelistic outreach and other special events outside of the church building.

The Bereavement Ministry was organized to assist the members of New Vision during the loss
of an immediate family member. The bereavement team assists the family in whatever ways we can. The death of a
loved one is very difficult and making arrangements can be overwhelming. The bereavement team is in constant contact with the family in order to help the family make this journey a little less difficult.

The bereavement team obtains all information and relays it to the church. The bereavement team is there to listen, answer questions, and encourage. This ministry requires persons with a compassionate servant's heart.
